Cloud that costs what it should and stays in Canada
We plan, migrate and run workloads on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Your data stays in Canadian regions, your bill is reviewed every month, and one team answers for all of it.
What you can expect
- Workloads hosted in Canadian regions (Montréal, Toronto, Calgary) to support PIPEDA and provincial privacy obligations
- A monthly cost review that finds idle resources, oversized instances and missing savings plans
- Infrastructure written as code, so every environment can be rebuilt and audited
What's included
Every engagement is scoped to you, but these are the parts most clients start with.
Cloud readiness assessment
An inventory of your applications, data and dependencies, with a recommended target for each: rehost, re-platform, rebuild or retire.
Migration planning and cut-over
Wave-by-wave migration plans with rollback points, scheduled outside your business hours.
Landing zone and security baseline
Accounts, networking, identity and logging set up before the first workload moves, following each provider’s well-architected guidance.
Infrastructure as code
Every resource defined in Terraform or Bicep and kept in your own Git repository.
Backup and disaster recovery
Documented recovery objectives, cross-region backups and a restore test every quarter.
Cost management (FinOps)
Tagging, budgets and alerts, plus a written monthly report of what changed and what to cut.
How the work runs
Discover
Two weeks of interviews and tooling to map what you run today and what it costs.
Design
A target architecture and migration plan you approve before anything moves.
Migrate
Workloads move in waves, each tested and signed off by your team.
Operate
Monitoring, patching, cost reviews and a named engineer on call.
Questions about Cloud services
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
Can my data stay in Canada?
Yes. AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud all operate Canadian regions, in Montréal, Toronto, Québec City and Calgary depending on the provider. We deploy primary workloads and backups there by default and document it for your privacy records.
Which cloud provider should we choose?
It depends on what you already use. Microsoft 365 shops often fit Azure; data-heavy or product teams often fit AWS or Google Cloud. The readiness assessment ends with a written recommendation and the reasons behind it.
Will there be downtime during migration?
Most workloads move with a short planned cut-over, scheduled evenings or weekends. Anything that cannot tolerate downtime gets a replication-based migration instead.
Do you lock us into a contract?
Managed operations run month to month after the first 90 days. All infrastructure code and documentation live in your accounts.
